top notch museum that is fun for all ages. hands on stuff for the kids, grown ups can read more detail. the family activities are fun too. everyone needs to go at least once if you live in MN!

love the selection of funky retro and lovely modern fabrics. way too easy to spend too much here!

good selection of maternity clothes but definitely use the coupon or hit the sales (twice yearly). On more moderate brands you'll do better shopping regular thrift stores but for pricey kids clothes you'll find great deals here.

One of our favorites. Great neighborhood atmosphere. Check out the live music on tuesday nights in the summer. It's kid friendly too!

Super friendly service and management. Cozy atmosphere and tasty dishes. Very willing to prepare dishes to your preference. My palate is very minnesotan and I always find things that are very savory and delicious yet not too spicy for me. I also appreciate their investment in the community and in sustainable practices (they compost food waste).

I've never rented gear here (as the coupon offers) but it is a great resource for the NW metro - beats driving to the REI mothership on the 494 strip. Hit the scratch and dent sales (quarterly) for the greatest deals.

Love Value Village for their kids clothes and housewares. There isn't a huge selection, but I've found some very nice items there. Combine already good prices with sales (like on holidays, or weekly sales) and you can find a really good deal.
