June 22, 2009 While the location (near St. Paul Cathedral) and general ambiance are good, this coffee shop lacks a focused, value-driven menu. The neighborhood vibe is historic and arty, and the best co-op in St. Paul (Mississippi Market) is down the street, so this shop has a real opportunity to create a menu that better reflects the culture. The current one is full of mediocre food - some of which is highly processed - at high prices. I recommend that management visit Kopplin's (St. Paul) and Common Roots (Mpls) for examples of what Nina's could be.
