I have seen quite a few plays at the Guthrie, and have loved most of them. Once in a while there is a not-quite-hit, but it is always well done and worthwhile. And of course the building is gorgeous. You can get rush tickets an hour and a half before the performance for $25, which makes it possible to go more frequently. The country knows us for this theater, and with good reason.

This is one of the best deals for entertainment in the Twin Cities! 2-for-1 tickets with the Blue Sky Guide coupon for shows on Tuesdays of Wednesdays! The shows are always excellent and the view from the skyway reminds me why I love it here. I want to go back again and again just for the wonderful (and now affordable) experience!
