June 17, 2009 Cafe Brenda is usually touted as being a very "veg-friendly" place, but I did not find that to be the case. When I went there, there was a meatless soup but made with chicken stock, and only 1 vegetarian entree. (on the other hand, there were only 5 entrees to choose from.) According to their current menu, they have less fish items now than the last time I was there; if you're veg*n, I would still double check the ingredients if you are concerned about chicken stock.
