Goodwill Retail Store - Burien
June 04, 2009
Goodwill is a GREAT Eco-lifestyle store. I've found all sorts of treasures there. From recycling housewares to brand new Canyon Creek backpack w/tags for my daughter.
McLendon Hardware - White Center
June 04, 2009
We like supporting local businesses. McLendon is great in that they're close to home. They have some of those necessary everyday things. I've learned a lot from the Master Gardener's that have set up there in the summer.
West Seattle Nursery & Garden Center
June 04, 2009
West Seattle Nursery is the best! They have a great selection of organic seeds and starts. I attended a great couple of classes there early spring and the staff was very helpful in choosing a pear tree and educating us on proper care. We go back again and again and again. LOVE them!!
The South 47 Farm
June 04, 2009
The drive is a bit but boy is it worth it. We've gone with our playgroup and dug potatoes. It's beautiful out there. Just wish they were closer.
West Seattle Farmers Market
June 04, 2009
So grateful to live in West Seattle and have the WS Farmers Market. Such a wide variety of goods but the absolute BEST tomatoes ANYWHERE from Farmer Billy! I happily and addictively spend $40/week on tomatoes during the season.
PCC Natural Markets - West Seattle
June 04, 2009
I love PCC and have from the moment I first moved to the area 14 years ago. I love that they do business with a conscious. They have a great selection and are always willing to get things in on special order even if they don't carry it. Their customer service is wonderful as well. Staff is friendly, the store is clean and they have great deals!
