Foie Gras, a revolting cruel and inhumane practice of force-feeding animals to fatten their livers til they can't move, has been served here and at Viande Meats. I will NEVER go here and EcoMetro / Chinook Book should NOT be allowing them to advertise. Also FYI they serve foie gras at Le Pigeon and Acadia in Portland as well.

I would like to add a "poor" rating because of the fact that this is not a real coupon. Energy Trust does this for free. ALSO it must be noted that once you get a review, you can NEVER get one again, even with the coupon - so I had one 4 years ago, and have done so much to my house energy-wise that I wanted to get it re-reviewed, and they refuse to come out to reevaluate my home. Please do not add this as a 'coupon' next time around. Perhaps instead a coupon to someone who does the whole house audits rather than this, since those have a price associated? Thanks!

I agree with ktravis - it's a great hidden gem along MLK! Love love love the eggs benedict and the GIANT cappucinos. Very friendly and down to earth staff, prices are reasonable, the waits are never too long on weekends, and I love being able to use the Chinook coupon as well.

I was always thoroughly unimpressed with Wild Oats Fremont. Extremely poor store layout and consistently bad service (I gave them several tries). Do they not know how to focus on the customer and be friendly too? Additionally, their prices are outrageous. So when I found out Whole Foods was taking over, I was very excited. Unfortunately, they made minimal improvements - the layout is still very awkward and it appears they retained most of the same staff, few who seem to know anything about how Whole Foods works or the products sold by Whole Foods. It's a bummer, so I'm back to New Seasons full time where service and prices are reliable and positive.

I had a great home energy review and excellent experience with the contractor who came out. However I must comment that this coupon is not needed for a free home energy review - they already offer this service which I took advantage of when I bought my home, so the fact that there is a 'coupon' seems somewhat misleading to me.

I absolutely love Anna Bannanas and have always had positive experiences with the staff, the food, and especially the coffee. Great relaxed environment and family friendly without being 'loud and screamy'. Also really appreciate that their Chinook Book coupon accommodates one person as well as two so you have the option.

I was not impressed with the service staff - they had an event at Pioneer Square recently and I had them look at my bike where they made a number of recommendations and comments about all that was wrong with my bike, with how I needed to bring it in for repairs to their store. However my intuition encouraged me to check these comments out and sure enough, the things they said that were wrong with my bike were NOT. I felt very preyed upon as a less experienced biker after this and have decided not to use my Chinook Book coupon at their store.
