My family loves Hot Lips Pizza. The company has integrated sustainability into every level from top to bottom and it shows. The also consistently have my favorite pizza. They use fresh, local, in-season ingredients and they are always coming up with puzzling yet delicious combinations like Summer Squash and Feta or local bacon, spuds and cheddar. Yum!

This is absolutely our favorite restaurant in Portland. Here is why: 1) fantastic food every time, 2) awesome margaritas (especially the spicy one!), 3) the extremely friendly staff and 4) the open kitchen where you can see Chef Oswaldo and his staff do their magic. This is not your everyday mexican restaurant. A meal at Autentica is like a gift to your taste buds. Enjoy!

Babyworks is one of my all time favorite stores. If you are going to use cloth diapers you should check it out. Here is why: 1) Friendly, knowledgeable staff, 2) Nice selection of diapers and diapers covers, 3) NO HASSLE RETURNS on most items! It is like the Nordstrom of diapers! They also have cute, organic baby clothing, Biokleen products, wooden toys and the all important comfortable nursing chair! I cannot recommend this store highly enough.

Milagros has a wonderful selection of diapers, covers and slings. If you are thinking of trying cloth diapers or a sling, the staff will guide you to a good choice for you and your baby. They have a small selection of good quality used clothing and a collection of funky and fun kids clothes.

Concordia Coffee House is my favorite local coffee house. It is within walking / biking distance of my house. They have my favorite spicy chai and they always make it just right. My DH really enjoys their mochas. The folks who work there are always pleasant and interesting to talk with. My only regret is that they used to have a killer chocolate banana bundt cake but they no longer carry it.
