Love recycled paint and have a plan to use some when we repaint our house. Best deal on a composter for your garden. We love ours and have been back adding more composting mussel to our garden. Great resource to keep our planet green.

Remodeling our house made us glad there was the Rebuilding Center. So many wonderful repurposed things to find that didn't end up in the land fill. We trucked over many loads of reusable materials from our deconstruction and found a few things we could use to make our remodel better. An incredible valuable resource for this community.

Amazing use of space. Fantastic transformation of a parking lot. So many wonderful garden ideas can be gleaned from this thoughtful, authentic, aesthetic block in the city. Walking through the gates you leave the hassle and bustle of chinatown. Inside is a wonderful Tea House run by the Tao of Tea. Sit, sip and snack your way to peace and tranquility.

Gotta love this store. Good location, convenient parking in back and although I rarely venture into the "Streets of Tanasbourne" they're ok too. Helpful staff and a great selection of must have outdoor gear. We've had fun shopping their shoe department, backpacks and cycling gear. Not as big as the downtown location.

Love it, love it, love it. This place is a garden addicts place to party. They have a great selection of healthy beautiful plants, many grown at the nursery. Educational classes are helpful, Farmington has a good series. Knowledgeable staff are always available, while you wonder the grounds, filling your cart with goodies. It's a bit of a drive, but once you arrive and start to explore it's like going on an exotic vacation.

Love the local produce, cheese counter, house baked breads, sustainable seafood and expansive meat counter, all with smart earth friendly choices. Although not the most economical place to shop for all things, it is a great choice when you can't make it to the local farmers market. Buy a case of wine and get a 20% discount. Love the local beer selections and afternoon wine tastings. Get a quick chill on your beverage while you shop in their speedy quick wine chiller.

We've shopped many of the local nurseries over the past three years. Our experience with Dennis' Seven Dees Cedar Hills became much better when we met Mike Curtin, assistant manager and local plant expert. With Mike guiding us through the many plant choices available, we have made much smarter, better informed purchases for problem areas in our yard. We are especially fond of the native plant selection, where we have found a good assortment of shade lovers. The 20% off Chinook coupon made these wise choices and economical too. Seven Dees recycles one gallon and bigger plastic pots, too.
