November 10, 2007 I find whole foods to be overpriced - yes, the quality is a little better and there aren't as many preservatives but they charge too much a premium for this. Just look how many fancy new whole foods stores you see them opening all over the country; they are obviously raking it in. A lot of the stuff you can get at your local safeway or fred meyer anyway, in the health food section.

November 14, 2007 I used to love Whole Foods, before I moved to Portland. It doesn't compare to New Seasons Market in terms of sincerity in efforts to promote healthy foods and healthy workplaces. Still, I shop there once or twice a year for specialty meats or bakery items.
