The 2010 season of Portland Taiko unites music, whirling choreography, storytelling, song, and rhythm. A collaboration with the creator of the consistently sold out Ten Tiny Dances results in Ten Tiny Taiko Dances, a work exploring drums in performance in March. The June 19 concert, The Way (Back) Home, will feature selections from the new CD, Rhythms of Change. The season culminates in an explosive ?nale concert, October 2-3. This popular local group also o?ers educational workshops and classes. Taiko satis?es both music and dance lovers.
