Portland Opera makes opera accessible to a wide public through its use of projected English translations and productions that are riveting dramatically and musically. Theonly opera company in the U.S. to o?er both Opera and Broadway series, the company’s 2010 opera season includes Cosi fan tutte, Trouble in Tahiti, and The Barber of Seville. Now in its 45th season, the Opera has improved native habitat at the Eastbank Esplanade, trained sta? with a Master Recycler and is slated to install solar panels. Portland Opera is now in its 45th season.
