June 15, 2009 Love that they recycle outdoor supplies & gear! Not so stoked on the pickyness at the buying counter. But, even if they don't buy my old gear, I still have very affordable options at Next Adventure to replace or upgrade. Two thumbs up.

November 01, 2007 Next Adventure is great at doing what it does best: Low prices! They know how to spot a deal and sell quality stuff for a reasonable price. However, this is a store to be really careful in. You can't return that whimsical purchase, so be sure about what you're buying. A lot of what they sell is like the remaindered books at Powell's...stuff that people either ordered way too many of or just wasn't any good to begin with. Sometimes there's a reason Next Adventure can buy 15 framepacks for cheap and sell them for cheap -- because they were never any good! But other times, they get stuff that rocks and they are selling for cheap. You just have to know your merch and watch out for the stuff they got because nobody else could sell it.
