November 03, 2009 Nice local grocery store offering up all the familiar healthy foods and vitamins and cosmetics and stuff. Good produce, too. Sadly this place used to be fantastic because they had a counter (look for the door near the shampoo) where they served made-to-order tofu burgers for lunch. A grilled bun, some avocado and ketchup. It was pure heaven for us in the know. Unfortunately we kept it a secret because we didn't want it to be overrun, and it ended up dying for lack of business. The poor gal (Tofu Patty, I think she was called) would be idle back in her little closet most of the afternoon. How we mourned when they pulled the plug.
