November 03, 2009 Very, very cool new and used bookstore. Great selection of used books and always changing. I recommend the bins of sheet music (it's vast for piano and pretty good for strings), the critical theory and philosophy section (Zizek anyone?) and the used cookbooks (they go on forever). And I haven't even mentioned the history of the place. If you weren't lucky enough to see Moe, when he was still alive, smoking a cigar behind the register, flouting the city's no-smoking ordinance, well, you really missed something.

February 14, 2008 Great selection, good prices, and knowledgeable buyers make this one of the best bookstores in Berkeley. Sell your books for trade credit and get a higher value than cash, then browse their incredible selection. Four floors of everything: children's books, quality fiction, new releases, remainders, manga, rare books, cooking, art, achitecture, languages, history, drama (I think I've only covered about 1/4 of the store so far - way too much to mention here). Check it out!
