June 04, 2009 If you're looking to buy a new bike in the East Bay, this is a great place to go. The staff spent a good hour with me helping me figure out what I wanted and which of the bikes they had there was best (I went on lots of short rides around the neighborhood). Then they installed all my accessories, taught me how to use a lock properly, and sent me on my way. Best of all, I now get free service from them for a year. The selection is good, prices pretty standard, and staff very nice though sometimes a bit busy. Great local bike shop, I'm glad to have it here.

July 12, 2008 Missing Link is the quintesential local bike shop serving Berkeley residents for the past quarter century. Great service for all kinds of bikers -- free use of bike tools, knowledgeable people and excellent selection of bike gear. If you need repairs or new equipment and your into supporting local owner-run cooperatives and being well served then this is the place to service your bicycle.
