November 28, 2008 Bucci's is an amazing restaurant. Everything on the menu (and I've tried most of it) I have found delicious and well prepared. They care a lot about what they serve, and I think everything is made in-house, including the fabulous desserts. The pizza is THE BEST in the area, but it's only one of several entrees on a changing menu. The menu always seems to include fish, meat, and a vegetarian entree as well. Lovely service, unhurried, beautiful courtyard with garden. The bar prepares great cocktails. I find this a place for any occasion, from a casual lunch to dinner with any size party. Bucci's is my favorite East Bay restaurant, and I've lived here for over 20 years.
