As a Colorado resident
for less than a year, I’ve been amazed by the strength of our frequently
shining sun at a mile high – here, a walk on a sunny winter day that is
in the 30’s or 40’s can feel substantially warmer and even warrant a
shedding of layers mid-walk. Not only has this been a pleasantly
surprising phenomenon to this girl from the gray lowlands of Michigan,
it’s also gotten me thinking about spring and all things green already.
