Bicycle Film Fest
Join other bike enthusiasts for a week-long celebration of the many ways bicycling can transport us. The festival includes art, film, and musical performances about bikes.

Go Green with a Splash Party Weekend
As part of the Arboretum’s on-going Waterosity summer exhibition, they decided to throw a party!  The weekend's line-up includes fun family activities such as performances by Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre and helpful information on ways to conserve water in your home and garden.

3rd Annual Minnehaha Creek Clean-up
Join volunteers from across the metro area to clean Minnehaha Creek from litter and invasive plant life starting at Lake Hiawatha moving upstream.  The morning starts with a free pancake breakfast to fuel your clean!

Responding to the Global Food Crisis
Jim Harkness, president of the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy and former adviser for the World Bank and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, will discuss the causes of the global food crisis and solutions for how the U.S. and the world can build a stronger, healthier global food system.

Big Back Yard at the Science Museum of Minnesota

Mini-golf has gotten incredibly cool (and educational) at the Science Museum of Minnesota.  The Big Back Yard outdoor exhibit and mini-golf course illustrates the evolution of landscape, river dynamics and biodiversity. After 5pm, golf costs only $5 when you stop by the box office and pick up a special sticker.
