"Behind the Walls" Green Home Tour 
 
AIA award winning architect Tony Case will lead this tour of 2 modern green homes under construction in Columbia City. The tour gives attendees an opportunity to explore the latest in green building and energy efficient technology, and see what goes on "behind the walls" of the homes as they are being constructed. Solar Works! in Seattle: Introduction to Solar Electricity

Residential customers with little or no solar background will have their questions related to solar electric (PV) technology answered: site assessment and system design, choosing a solar contractor, installing a system, state and federal incentives, as well as maintenance and operation of your system. Participants will walk away with the knowledge they need to begin investing wisely in solar electricity.  Free!

Come meet Woody Tasch, Chairman and CEO of Investor's Circle.  BALLE Seattle will be hosting a panel discussion on the topic of local investment with Tasch and other members of our community. Woody was founding Chair of the Community Development Venture Capital Alliance and the Nantucket Sustainable Development Corporation. This event will kick off this year's three-part series, "Investing Locally."
