The Portland’s Farmers Market is my most favorite place to be on a Saturday morning. I always start the morning off right with breakfast in the food court, so many choices from breakfast burritos, hot organic oatmeal, pigs in a blanket, or yummy biscuits and gravy. What gets me excited is the vast assortment of fruits, veggies, seafood, jams, and sweets found through out the market. I also love that with the change of seasons and weather the variety of items the market carries changes.

My favorite Portland Farmer's market is the PSU campus. It's a perfect way to start a Saturday with music, flowers, all the fruit and veggies one could want, breakfast and lots of people watching. Plus, it's asthetically perfect with it's location on the Park blocks. I only wish it was year round.

I love the Portland Farmers Market. Where else can you talk directly with the growers, bakers, cheesemakers, etc.? I go as often as I can. It's the place to start your weekly shopping, before you get sucked into the grocery stores, where the produce isn't as fresh.
