First Fix-It Fair
The City of Portland's 23rd annual Fix-It Fair season will kick off with a new addition: workshops in Spanish. Fix-It Fairs are free events where residents can learn simple and effective ways to save money at home this winter.  All fairs offer free childcare and lunch.

Wild Arts Festival

Tree Lighting Ceremony Pioneer Square 2009
On the day after Thanksgiving, Portlanders will gather at the Square to celebrate the official start of the season by lighting the spectacular 75ft tree. Big, bright and beautiful, this event unites the community in an evening of merriment and sharing for the whole family.
