In additional to analyzing standard sustainability features such as land planning and transportation, SustainLane's annual report takes into account more day-to-day specifics including quality of life and affordability. Oakland dropped from 5th to 9th. Points were lost for affordability and congestion, but it was noted that 10% of our energy matrix is renewables, and we rank 4th in both local food sourcing and air quality. Yeah, we know!
