Alameda adopted a Local Plan for Climate Protection, the goal of which
is to reduce Alameda’s carbon emissions to 25% below 2005 levels by the
year 2020. COme hear what's been happening, what's planned, and learn
about some great Alamedans who have shown leadership locally and
globally.

Go: REI Ridge Trail Service Day: EBMUD’s Skyline Trail in Berkeley

will partner with land management agencies throughout the nine-county
Bay Area for a morning of volunteer work on the Bay Area Ridge Trail, a
planned 550-mile trail on the ridgelines circling San Francisco Bay.
Come join us in the Berkeley hills. REI Berkeley and Bay Area Ridge
Trail Council will team up with East Bay Municipal Utility District
(EBMUD) to restore sections of the Skyline Trail. For information on
