Cycling Solo Across America: A Fundraising Ride
This last May, cyclist Shawne Camp set out on a dream adventure. He pedaled his bike solo from San Francisco to Washington, D.C. to raise funds for the American Lung Association. Join Shawne for slides and highlights of his self-supported cycling and camping journey, on which he rode 3,630 miles in all, covering an average of 96 miles each day. Learn what it takes to successfully complete a self-supported ride of this magnitude, including planning, gear, mental training, and physical fitness.
