Electronic Equipment / Electronic Waste (E-Waste) Accepted: Televisions Monitors; Computer systems; Copy machines; Fax Machines; Printers; MP3 Players; Scanners; Video Game Consoles; Video Games; Cellular Phones (batteries can be included); Household phones; Stereo Equipment; Miscellaneous wiring; CD's (players and discs); DVD's (players and discs); Computer components (i.e. keyboards, mice, internet devices etc.). Universal Waste Management, Inc. does not accept household appliances at recycling events. Download the State E-Waste verification form from website and fill it out before you visit this event.

Live: Dick Penniman’s Avalanche Safety Lecture
Internationally known avalanche instructor and consultant Dick Penniman has taught avalanche safety courses for the National Avalanche School, the Alaska Avalanche School, the American Avalanche Institute, and several mountain colleges. Join Dick here at REI for a lively and informative slide lecture and video presentation on the fundamentals: avalanche phenomena, meteorology, snowpack formation, route selection, stability evaluation and rescue techniques. Eat: VEGETARIAN COOKING CLASS – HEALTHFUL RESOLUTIONS - LOW-CAL/HIGH-FLAVOR!
Though healthful plant-based diets are naturally lower in calories and higher in fiber than meat- and dairy-based diets, our January class focuses on those delicious dishes that are particularly low in fat and calories but high on flavor.
