Caroline, or Change at the Guthrie

If you do only one thing between now and June 21, make it a visit to the Guthrie Theater to see their production of Caroline, or Change.  The play is almost entirely sung in gospel, blues, and traditional Jewish melodies to tell the story of Caroline Thibodeaux, an African American maid in 1963 Louisiana, and Noah, the 8-year-old son for the family she works for.  With an extremely talented cast and beautiful score, the audience watches Caroline learn that despite initial resistance, change can ultimately set us free.  Bring a friend on a Tuesday or Wednesday night and use your Blue Sky Guide coupon to get 2-for-1 tickets!
Through June 21, see calendar for show times
Guthrie Theater, 818 S 2nd St, Minneapolis
