This store has everything you need to "live-green". Light bulbs, linens, kitchen supplies, cleaning, gardening, etc - this is a potential one-stop-shop for your everyday needs. Staff are knowlegeable and friendly. We need more stores like this one - so help keep them around! Check them out and tell your friends!

When the owners of such an aspirational store as Goods for the Planet show up after their long days at area rallies and events in support of social justice & environmental stewardship, I know I've found a place to spend my hard-earned dollars!
Suzanne and Chris's personal politics spill naturally into their store and Seattle is the better for it. Filled with hundreds of items that have had to pass a very high bar to make it past their threshold, Goods for the Planet lets me shop guilt-free for both the mundane and lovely luxuries in life.
My favorites so-far?... a recycled beer bottle opener made from a bike chain -- a real hit at parties, and our office's 100% recycled, chlorine-free copier paper we order by the case from these terrific ladies!
