Dive into shaving cream, build a giant robot, climb into a confetti tent and much more! This event is for children ages 2-6 years. For centuries, native people lived along the California Coast, honing their subsistence skills with a deep respect for the natural world. Today, few of us would know how to survive outdoors without the use of modern gear. Join TrackersBAY instructor Casey Nutt for a presentation on primitive skills, including traditional boatbuilding, fire technology, cordage and rope-making, animal tracking, understanding bird language and nature awareness. Come find out what it’s like to spend several days fishing and wandering from cove to cove, foraging for food, without matches and other modern amenities.
