Please Note:  Not everything is complete nor are all of the links functional.  Please do not go beyond creating/editing blog articles.  You can view the entries by clicking on either the blog link next to "Current Blog:" within the "My Blogs" section, or you can click the "Exit Control Panel and Return to Site" button.

To begin creating articles, click on the "Control Panel" link above.  From there, you'll need to click on "My Blogs" link in the top navigation, then select which blog you would like to administer.

Once you select the blog you want to edit, there will be some navigation panels on the left hand side of the screen.  Under the heading "Common Tasks" there will be a link titled "Write a Blog Post".  This is where you go to create a new article.

To edit an existing article, you'll find a link titled "All Posts" under the heading "Manage Content".  On this page, you will see a list of recent articles from which you can edit any.  There is a default article that is not for editing called "Default - DO NOT DELETE OR PUBLISH".

This default article has been created for each blog in all 5 markets for the purpose of housing the "EcoMetro Blogs" tags.  Whatever tags exist in these default articles will be used to highlight tags of the same name in other articles.  For example, "Green Home" is a tag in all of the default articles.  If an article is created and uses the tag "Green Home", that tag will be highlighted above the title of the article in the post list page.

To change blogs, simply click the "Select Blog to Manage" button at the top right, under the main navigation bar when in the "My Blogs" section.

There are 2 main roles for creating articles; Editor and BlogAdministrator.  The editor role, which is everyone except Nik and Carissa, is allowed to create and edit draft blog articles.  Only the BlogAdministrator, who are only Nik and Carissa, can actually publish an article.  When any article is published, the author remains the same as the original author who wrote it.
